POLICIA DE LAREDO TEXAS CONFISCA DROGA


Domestic Assault Leads to Seizure of $76,000 worth of cocaine
On 01-13-10, at approximately 11 p.m., Laredo Police Department Patrol assisted by Laredo Police Narcotics/Vice Unit seized approximately 9.5 lbs. cocaine. A woman called police stating that she had just been assaulted by a known male and needed assistance. When police arrived, she stated that her boyfriend had assaulted her and threw her out of the vehicle. While waiting for an ambulance, the female stated to officers that her boyfriend was in route to his residence at the 3200 block of E. Stewart to retrieve a large amount of cocaine. Patrol Officers quickly responded to the suspect’s residence and observed him leaving westbound on the 3200 block of Price. The suspect drove into an apartment complex and attempted to conceal his vehicle in the back corner of the complex. Patrol Officers pulled up behind him and had him exit his vehicle where he was detained for the investigation of the domestic assault. Upon checking the vehicle, four brick size packages of cocaine were found in a black bag on the back seat. LPD Narcotics Officers were called to the scene to seize the contraband. A follow up investigation is being conducted by the Laredo Police Department’s Narcotic/Vice Unit. Alberto Sauceda DOB: 1-28-1974 was and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (cocaine) F/1 and Assault Family Violence C/A. Subject was transported to the Laredo Police Department where he was booked and later remanded to the Webb County Jail and held pending Magistration.
